  • Please note that a room block is not available at La Playa Hotel or any of our recommended hotels. We encourage you to book early, as availability in Carmel-by-the-Sea is limited — especially in the summer months.

  • The wedding is semi-formal attire. Keep in mind that Carmel evenings can be cool and breezy, so we recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap for outdoor time.

  • Please feel free to find your own accommodations, including other hotels or Airbnbs in the area!

  • Most guests will fly in Saturday afternoon and head out Monday morning. Flying into Monterey Regional Airport (MRY) is the closest option, though San Jose (SJC) and San Francisco (SFO) also work well.

  • In lieu of a registry or donations, we simply hope you enjoy the trip and celebrate with us. Please no gifts.

  • You're welcome to reach out to or our wedding coordinator Addy (addy@itssimplyaddy.com) or to Bella and Renzo.

  • Ocean Avenue is the heart of town, lined with boutiques, cozy cafés, and art galleries — all just a short stroll to the beach. Carmel Beach is a must for its soft white sand and stunning sunsets, and Point Lobos State Natural Reserve nearby offers easy, scenic hikes like the Bird Island and Cypress Grove Trails. The famous 17 Mile Drive is another highlight — a scenic coastal road with breathtaking views that takes about 1–2 hours to complete. And of course, Carmel is a wonderful town just to wander!

  • La Playa Hotel offers on-site parking for guests, and there is also free street parking available throughout the village.

  • Carmel-by-the-Sea is a very walkable town, so a car is not required if you are staying in the village. However, if you are staying outside of Carmel-by-the-Sea or plan to explore the surrounding areas such as Big Sur, 17 Mile Drive, or Monterey, renting a car is a great option — and free street parking is plentiful throughout Carmel. Rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft are also available in the area.
